iHeart Faces -Pouting and Pets

This is my SON hence the reason he's about to burst into tears. He was not happy about mommy putting a bow on his head, lol. Poor guy. He did get a lot of offers to do bow modeling from this pic though...

A Thousand Word Thursday

My boy loves to "work" on his trike, his dump truck, his stroller, anything with wheels. Everything ends up on it's side for a good wheel spinning then when he's done he ALWAYS puts them back right side up! He's spent a good 20 minutes during this session, flipping it on both sides checking out all the wheels.

Jack and Lily Review and Giveaway!

Jack and Lily are the maker of some really cute shoes for girls and boys. I have had a really hard time find cute shoes for my little man and Jack and lily had him covered. On top of carrying TONS of really cute designs I surprised and how soft and comfortable the shoes were.
I love their Originals line and that they carry to size 3-4 as oppose to the My Shoes. I wish I would've remembered that when I was selecting a pair! They have tons of cute styles in both collections but I really love their Originals boy styles.

The shoes are extremely comfortable and Owen didn't mind wearing them. In fact he wore them all afternoon! I wish they had styles big enough for my daughter who loves shoes but complains about sore feet.

Jack and Lily is inspired by a baby's sense of touch therefore and are made from "Lamb Touch" leather and are the softess shoes on the market!

Wallsy Tales Review and Giveaway!

In my search for fun colorful gender nuetral decorations for my children's bathroom, I came across a great company called Wallsy Tales. It meant all my criteria I was looking for and since this was for my kids/hall bathroom I wouldn't have to worry about the wallsy's morphing due to humidity from showers!

I love that these are removeable without me having to worry about them loosing their stick since I can easily by the necessary adhesive tabs! This was important for my since we are renters and someday when we move I want to be able to take them with us and I know they will stay looking fantastic!
Wallsy Tales are designed for nurseries and Jungle nurseries are all the rage nowadays, these look so much better and cover so much area then the typical pictures you'd buy for a nursery. And guess what.... They cost about 1/3 the price and will easily carry over into toddlerhood and childhood since they are so colorful and fun!

Installation was a breeze too. Other than deciding where I want to put each piece it took me only minutes to hang all 8 pieces and completely changed the look of our tiny hall bath. Lindsey was elated and loves the butterfly and bee and ladybugs. Owen's reaction was "oohhhh" and pointing to all the animals. Both of them had smiles ear to ear at their new special bathroom. I plan on buying some colorful towels and accessories to match then viola I'll be done!

Here are some of my before and afters ( These would look great on painted walls but look great on the white also! I love the color they added)

Buy It:
Wallsy Tales are reasonably priced at $99 and they accept PayPal! And offer's free shipping and no sales tax!! They also include EVERYTHING needed to hang them!

Win it: One reader will get a Wallsy Tales Pack! How cool is that?

To enter, visit Wallsy Tales and tell me something you learned.
This is required for an entry into the giveaway and must be done before the extra entries count. Entries saying "count me in" or "pick me" are extremely annoying and WILL NOT COUNT! These companies are very generous and deserve to have their sites visited!

Totally Talented Tuesday- Determination

Owen has this little police car from Christmas. I still havent' put batteries in it :/ He still loves it and loves playing with it. He realized the top flips open ( to put in action figure... or barbie if Lindsey get's her hands on it) well he sat there and tried and tried to figure out how to hold it open and sit himself in it. My camera died at the last picture :( I was in such a hurry before my camera died so I apologize for the poor quality)

iHeart Faces- Green

My last few picture posts I feel like I broke open the picture vault. I love this picture of my son in his "Green Peace" shirt looking so mischievious as he went to taste a leaf. It almost looks like he is uncertain if I can see him through the lens and wondering why I haven't stopped him.

I really enjoyed last week's "creative cropping" and hope to enter every week, they're are some really fantastic pictures that inspire me to be a better "photographer".
Be sure to go check out all the entries at iHeart Faces. And check out this week's judge HERE.

Fix It Friday #6

I did a quick edit using CS3.
I started by lightening up the eyes a tad to make them really stand our
I added texture to give the background and the girl a angelic feel. I deleted it solely on her face so she wouldn't be textures. I set it at opacity 66% and Linear Burn.
I finished up with MCP High Definition and Crystal clear.
Think that was it.
