Wordless Wenesday

For nearly 2 years my son has had a tail. Yup a rat tail, lol. Some people loved it other's HATED it. My husband hated it. It was one of those things that once I started it it was like I couldn't cut it off. i swore i would cut it off for his 2nd birthday. Well, this past week I got sick of it and off it came! I'm glad to do away with it and love his new clean look. We saved it for his baby book.

Honey Kix... Still Kid Tested, Mother Approved! And GIVEAWAY!

Thanks to MyBlogSpark I was given the opportunity to try out the new Honey Kix. As a cereal I grew up eatting I was anxious to try out the new flavor of a classic cereal.
I was excited to see the big package of goodies they supplied. I cereal container. Which has made my morning so much easier with 2 spout openings, one smaller "kid friendly" and one larger. I never saw one like this and thought it was pretty neat. We also received a Kix logo bowl, a take along cereal and milk holder which will be great for school it even has a special spoon tucked inside. a cute little honey jar and a coupon for a free box of Honey Kix.


We don't do sugary cereals for everyday use in our family. We love that so many brands are offering more healthy choices and Kix is no exception. We loved the lightly sweetened cereal and loved that is only had 6 grams of sugar per serving! I also loved that it's a good source of fiber, calcium, vitamin D, and 16 grams of whole grain per serving without any preservatives or artificial colors. This is a everyday breakfast cereal choice for us! My daughter loves her's with mild and my son likes his dry like a snack. They make a fun little finger food.
These will be back on my shopping list!

Ufadili Clothing Review

I was introduced to Ufadili recently and was excited to do a product review on this line of clothing that really is like no other I've seen. What really stood out to me was there motto " What if the clothes you purchased for you and your children were more than just cute?" Pair that with the images of familiar creatures and different languages and you have a completely unique gift that is cute and educational! Ufadili comes from the swahili word meaning "kindheartedness, goodwill" and after learning that they use fair trade cotton, produce their garments here in the USA and they give 30% of all profits to charity I think the name fits perfectly!
When my package arrived I took a special note on how nicely everything was packaged. The shirt had come ready to gift neatly packaged in it's own box with attached "giving tag" that contained a interesting fact on the creature that was on our shirt and what the creature is called in 5 languages! The other side mentioned that 30% of the proceeds go to organizations helping people, animals and the planet. When I finished unpacking our shirt I was blown away by how soft and stretchy the shirt is! Really this is the shirt we all dream about.
I love the look of our raglan shirt with it's black sleeves and the image of a shark on the front! My son loves it and it will likely become a favorite as the weather cools down. I would highly recommend Ufadili to those searching for a great gift or to buy for your own family.
