Anytime Costume Review

Last year I was I discovered a great convenient way to buy costumes... ONLINE! I was really excited to discover AnytimeCostumes.com. Barbie: A Fashion Fairy Tale Review

We have owned several Barbie movies as my daughter has grown up. She has always been a huge fan of them and even based a few years worth of Halloween costumes off their characters. I wish they had them when I was a kid as I know I would've been hooked as well. As she has grown older her interest has began dropping off in them, that is until Barbie: A Fashion Fairy Tale came out!


This movie has hit the nail on the head in all her interest. She may only be 7 but she is a tween in the making, but a child at heart. She is into what she's wearing how her hair looks and trying to be cool, but still loves playing with her Barbie's and dolls.
In Barbie: A Fashion Fairy Tale, Barbie is a ousted actress who thinks she has been burned by her longtime boyfriend Ken. I giggled at the references to well known paparazzi type websites that Barbie is reading from and all the modern add's to this Barbie movie I haven't seen in past movies. Barbie decides she needs a break and heads to Paris to visit her Aunt a Fashion designer, only to discover that she is closing up shop and pursuing other interests.
The movie had a perfect pairing of fantasy and reality that drew my daughter in and made her really love the show. There are villain's and fairy's that your familiar with with Barbie movies that are fun and important lessons to be learned.
I would recommend Barbie: A Fashion Fairytale for any young girl, especially ones who are transitioning from little girlhood and may be moving away from really fantasy sort of Barbie movies.
